Born in Israel, Ronnie Setter lives and works in Tel Aviv.
Photography, drawing and light (particularly the integration of LED lights into her works) are major components of Ronnie's work. Light always emerges from the inner part of the work. Some works contain three-dimensional transparent figures that she designs and which are printed in a 3D printer. The fusion of flat and three-dimensions, historical and contemporary, depictions of the real and drawings of the “might have been” are the contradictions inherent in Ronnie's artworks. Above all, her elegant and fluid drawing adds a unique touch to these photo-based works.
Her work has been shown in many solo shows and group exhibitions in Israel, Europe and the U.S.
